Job summary

Kj’s Market in Ebenezer, SC is hiring kitchen staff to set up and stock stations, prepare a wide range of foods, and maintain safety and quality standards. You will work with knives, mixers, blenders, and other equipment to deliver consistent dishes for service.

We value friendly, team-oriented individuals who can lift heavy items, follow recipes, and communicate clearly with supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Good reading skills and effective communication with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service including chopping, butchering, and sauces.
• Prepare various items using knives and kitchen equipment to recipe specs.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstation and proper storage throughout service.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of products and safety standards.
• Support guest service and follow company service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
