Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a Cook to assist all stations and lines, helping prepare and present menu items while supporting efficient kitchen operations. You will follow chef directions, keep ingredients labeled and stocked, measure spices, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to house policies. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States and able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in recipes
• Undertake basic cooking duties
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Participate in seamless operation between BOH + FOH staff members, ensuring proper service to our guests
• Follow all prep recipes and procedures and successfully perform these duties as assigned and/or reassigned by leadership
