Position Summary

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment, proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and follow food safety guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to the daily needs of the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety.
2. Maintains cleanliness of the LifeCafe and kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes.
3. Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations.
4. Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients when preparing food.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in a restaurant with fast casual or full-service experience.
• Experience prepping recipes.

Pay: This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
