Job summary

PLIMPTON & HILLS CORP INC in Danbury, CT is seeking a full-time Showroom Sales Associate to guide homeowners through kitchen and bathroom renovations with design assistance and product knowledge. You will collaborate with designers, architects, builders, and contractors through the project cycle, identify customer needs, and drive sales while maintaining a welcoming showroom.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in kitchen/bath and/or design required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; verbally and written.
• Familiarity with industry’s trends.
• Result driven and customer focused.
• High School diploma required; Associates degree in design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide homeowners through renovation with design assistance and product selection.
• Work with designers, architects, builders, plumbers and contractors through the project cycle.
• Determine customer needs and potential for additional sales through suggestion of related products.
• Proactively seek opportunities to obtain new customers and introduce products and services.
• Continuously expand product knowledge to best serve the customer.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing catalogs and ensure product availability.
• Teach customers about product features and benefits.
• Maintain a clean, attractive showroom appearance and organize catalogs.
