Plimpton & Hills Corporation seeks a Kitchen & Bath Design Sales Consultant for our Stamford, CT showroom. You will deliver a consultative sales experience, guiding clients through design decisions, product selection and pricing both in person and by phone.

The role requires showroom sales experience, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work Saturdays. A High School diploma is required; an Associate’s degree in design is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in showroom or customer-focused retail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable learning new products and technology.
• Availability to work Saturdays as part of the showroom schedule.
• High School diploma required; Associates degree in design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide homeowners through design assistance, product selection and purchase for kitchen and bath projects.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, builders, plumbers and contractors through the project cycle.
• Identify customer needs and suggest related products to enhance their experience and sales.
• Proactively seek opportunities to attract new customers and introduce them to products and services.
• Maintain current product knowledge, pricing and catalogs to support sales effectiveness.
• Ensure showroom presentation is clean, organized and up-to-date.
