Job summary

The Plimpton & Hills Showroom in Greenwich, CT seeks a full-time sales associate to guide homeowners, designers, and builders through kitchen and bath selections with design assistance and personalized service.

You will collaborate with contractors, maintain product knowledge, upsell related items, and help customers complete purchases while delivering a professional, customer-focused experience. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in kitchen/bath and/or design
• Clear communication, verbal and written
• Familiarity with industry's trends
• Results-driven and customer-focused
• HS diploma; design degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Guide homeowners through renovation with design assistance and product selection.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, builders, plumbers, and contractors.
• Identify customer needs and upsell related products.
• Seek opportunities to obtain new customers and showcase products.
• Expand product knowledge to better service customers.
• Explain pricing and product availability; maintain confidentiality of catalogs.
• Educate customers on features/benefits; stay informed on new products.
• Maintain a clean, attractive showroom and up-to-date catalogs.
• practice active listening to understand needs and questions.
• Aim to meet and exceed sales goals; perform other duties as required.
