Goodhue Public School Food Service Department is seeking a dependable kitchen assistant to help run the cafeteria, manage Point of Sale, and support broader kitchen operations.

The role requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:30 am–1:30 pm, with about 175 school-year days.

Goodhue Public School Food Service Department is looking for a dependable and hardworking kitchen assistant to join our team. This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining our Point of Sale and supporting other kitchen operations. Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team, and the desire to learn and grow. General computer skills are required. Training will be provided for this position.

HOURS

• Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-1:30 pm.
• All food service staff work approximately 175 days per school year.
• The schedule aligns with the student school calendar (September through May).

PAY

Starting pay - $17.43/hour per the Food Service Support Staff Agreement
