Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Conyers, GA is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher to keep the back of house running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.

No prior kitchen experience is required, but a strong teamwork mindset and passion for food will help you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior kitchen experience is not necessary but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Manage time to ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and all dishes are ready for use.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
