Job summary

Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to assist in meal service and kitchen operations. You will set up meal trays, help with serving, and support the cook and dietary supervisor while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.

The role requires ability to follow recipes and procedures, read technical instructions, and obtain a food handlers’ certificate. You must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work cooperatively with all departments.

• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperature and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks and keep kitchen clean.
• Sweep, mop floors, and dispose of trash properly.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
