Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose in Saint Peters, Missouri. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves learning food service routines, setting up meal trays, cleaning dishes, serving meals, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen.

A food handlers’ certificate is required, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You will perform routine checks, assist with training, and work cooperatively with all departments to ensure efficient service and food safety

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to interpret instructions from managers.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and serve meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
