Job summary

Coinstar is seeking a Field Technician to service kiosks across a defined territory using a company vehicle. You will plan daily routes, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems to ensure optimal kiosk operation.

Responsibilities include updating parts inventories, handling field change orders, and coordinating with remote support. A valid driver's license and basic computer hardware knowledge are required; two+ years field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years troubleshooting and repair of computer, electronic and electromechanical devices or an associate degree in electronics.
• Basic background knowledge in computer hardware and software and computer-controlled equipment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision; field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kiosks and clean as needed.
• Electromechanical troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance.
• Test all kiosk components for proper operation and connectivity.
• Handle parts and inventory; manage field change orders and scheduling.
• Plan daily routes and adjust for priority changes and weather.
• Support remote diagnostics with service reps and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain asset log and secure all company equipment and parts.
