Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• For workforce education: three years of direct or related work experience.
• For developmental courses: Bachelor's in the teaching discipline with demonstrated competency.
• Official transcripts required at time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Participates in evaluation of the instructional process and uses innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Participates in development and support of their discipline by revising curricula and assignments.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records.
• Performs professional activities and collaborates with the division dean and colleagues.
• Uses knowledge of diverse communities and learning styles to tailor instruction.
• Participates in student advising and registration.
• Utilizes technology to facilitate learning, access data, and generate reports.
• Meets professional assignments per the System's calendar and policies.
