Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in the teaching discipline with 18 graduate hours for credit courses.
• For workforce education: a combination of academic prep and three years of direct or related work experience, other than teaching.
• For developmental courses: a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline and demonstrated competency; transcripts required at interview.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Participates in evaluation of the instructional process and uses innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Participates in development and support of their discipline by recommending books and materials, revising curricula, and recommending teaching assignments.
