Job summary

Fulton Schools is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional (Kindergarten) to support teachers in classrooms and media centers at Lake Windward Elementary. The role includes assisting with materials, small-group instruction, attendance, and library tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 0–1 year experience, and must obtain the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate; dual immersion experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; in lieu of GACE, 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.
• Must obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.
• 0-1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing educational materials.
• Work individually with students or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Prepare and maintain bulletin boards and learning centers.
• Monitor library use and assist students with media/technology resources.
