Job summary

You will collaborate with paraprofessionals and special education staff, plan engaging lessons across core subjects, and maintain families’ progress communications in a nurturing school community.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in general education (required).
• Experience teaching early childhood or kindergarten is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff and supporting diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all core subjects for kindergarten students.
• Adapt instruction to meet the needs of a diverse classroom, including general education and special education students.
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and special education staff to support students with IEPs.
• Foster a supportive, positive learning environment that encourages academic and social growth.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom activities.
