Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience with students with disabilities or IEPs.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavioral management.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to adapt quickly and contribute positively to school culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with varying abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEP goals, progress reports, and assessments.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.
• Communicate regularly and proactively with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Support classroom management and provide targeted interventions when needed.
