Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a PreK inclusion classroom for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract offers a collaborative, supportive setting with two paraprofessionals and an EST schedule.

You will lead inclusive instruction, develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and partner with families, service providers, and administration to meet every learner's needs and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience in early childhood or PreK inclusion classrooms.
• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong collaboration with paraprofessionals, families, and specialists.
• Commitment to nurturing, differentiated, inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PreK inclusion class with a mix of students, creating lesson plans tailored to diverse needs.
• Work closely with paraprofessionals to deliver effective instruction and classroom support.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with service providers, families, and administration to meet students’ educational needs.
• Implement positive behavior supports and adaptive teaching strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records.
