Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a General Education Teacher to support elementary students in a contract role starting August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027. This full-time position focuses on delivering engaging math, science, and social studies instruction in a collaborative school setting.

You will design lessons, differentiate instruction, monitor progress, and partner with families and staff to ensure student growth and a safe inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification for elementary or general education
• Demonstrated classroom experience in teaching Math, Science, or Social Studies at the elementary level
• Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction
• Ability to connect with young learners and inspire curiosity across multiple subjects
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working closely with school staff and families

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing engaging lessons for general education elementary classrooms
• Individualizing instruction to meet diverse learning needs in Math, Social Studies, and Science
• Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Assessing student growth, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborating with fellow teachers, support staff, and families for student success
• Maintaining accurate records for attendance, progress, and required documentation
• Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as scheduled
