Job summary

In-Shape Fitness Cathedral City is seeking a dedicated Kids Zone team member to create a safe, welcoming space for children aged 3 months to 12 years. You will lead age-appropriate activities, read, paint, sing, and help kids build healthy habits while parents enjoy their time at the club.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, supervising activities, organizing materials, and supporting community-building among members.

Qualifications

• Preschool or day care experience preferred.
• Flexible/positive attitude toward members’ expectations.
• Patience and creativity to work with children and handle behaviors.
• CPR certification required or obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by applying safety policies and procedures.
• Observe and monitor activities of children in Kids Zone.
• Organize and participate in age-appropriate recreational activities.
• Read to children and teach simple crafts, painting, and songs.
• Engage children to promote healthy habits and social development.
• Ensure only authorized personnel access the Kids Zone.
• Assist in community-building and member experience.
