Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Kids Zone team member to provide a safe, welcoming environment for children aged 3 months to 12 years. You will lead age-appropriate activities, read stories, and help children develop social skills while parents enjoy their time at the club.

Ideal candidates have preschool or day care experience, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in preschool or day care settings is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and energy to work with children and their families.
• Willingness to participate in meetings and trainings.
• Able to work a flexible shift including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Trustline registration will be facilitated by In-Shape.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Observe and monitor Kids Zone activities.
• Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities and reading sessions.
• Promote healthy habits and positive social development.
• Ensure secured access and adherence to club policies.
• May assist in other club areas as needed.
• Monitor pool or slide operations when seasonally applicable.
