Job summary

YMCA of NorthWest North Carolina is seeking a Kids Zone Representative to supervise and engage children aged 6 weeks to 11 years within our family support and hospitality portfolio. You will deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate activities while upholding strict health, safety, and sanitation standards.

You will greet families, provide responsive customer service, and maintain accurate attendance records.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain CPR certification (ASHI) within 30 days of employment.
• Experience with children across ages or in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate, value-centered learning and play activities.
• Provide continuous care and supervision with emphasis on safety and sanitation.
• Deliver superior customer service to families and children; greet stakeholders warmly.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, sign-in sheets, and site checklists.
• Attend regular staff meetings and complete mandatory compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
