Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle in Cary, NC is seeking a Kid Zone Care Attendant to supervise children in a childcare setting under the guidance of the program supervisor and director. You will help provide a positive, safe, and engaging experience aligned with our core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring. Available shifts are 8:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous child care experience preferred.
• Professional, courteous and friendly.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of children while participating in program activities.
• Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
• Maintains regular, clear communication within area of responsibility.
• Maintains group control and handles situations with a positive attitude.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the program environment.
