Job summary

YMCA of NorthWest North Carolina is seeking a Kids Zone Representative to supervise and engage children aged 6 weeks to 11 years within our family support and hospitality portfolio. You will uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards while communicating with families and enterprise teams.

You will lead developmentally appropriate activities, ensure safety, and greet families with warm, non-transactional service. AFter employment, mandatory CPR certification is required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain ASHI (CPR) certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Provide continuous care with focus on safety and sanitation.
• Deliver customer service to families and engage with stakeholders.
• Maintain attendance records, sign-in sheets, and site checklists.
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
