Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Aiken, SC seeks an in-store Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and host children’s parties and craft events, delivering a fun, hands-on experience for guests and families.

You will assist customers, provide fast checkout, promote the Rewards program, and support store operations from stocking to setup and breakdown, while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events in-store, including children's birthday parties and craft events.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities.
• Handle party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to standards.
• Assist customers in shopping and provide fast checkout.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Support store operations including stocking and SOP compliance.
