Job summary

Michaels is seeking an events-focused team member to coordinate in-store activities, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers, help them find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while supporting stocking and store recovery duties.

Role requires strong people skills, prior retail or customer service experience, and the ability to work with guests of all ages during events. This position is based in-store in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and children's events.
• Excellent people skills and communication.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events within the Michaels store, including kids' birthday parties and craft classes.
• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions to shopping needs.
• Assist with checkout, truck unload, stocking, and planogram tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards; follow SOPs.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; manage paperwork and inquiries.
