Job summary

Michaels in the United States is seeking team members to coordinate events and deliver exceptional customer service. You will plan children’s birthday parties and crafts classes, engage guests of all ages, and guide shoppers through the store to find products and enroll in loyalty programs.

The role includes checkout support, stocking, and maintaining store standards. The position requires energy, strong people skills, and experience with children’s events.

Qualifications

• Must be energetic and enthusiastic.

• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Must have good communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Must have strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Retail or customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (including children’s birthday parties) within a Michaels store.
• Engage customers and assist with shopping and checkout processes.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and VOC survey education.
• Handle store duties like stocking, planograms, and merchandising recovery.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and SOP adherence.
• Communicate clearly with clients and store team members to ensure event success.
