Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator for our Roswell, GA store to plan and execute in-store events, including kids parties and craft classes, delivering a fun and engaging guest experience.

You will coordinate client communications, supervise event setup, assist customers at checkout, and ensure store standards and safety. Prior experience with children's events is preferred in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at the Michaels store, including kids birthdays and classes.
• Engage guests of all ages with fun, creative activities and demonstrations.
• Instruct participants in craft projects and manage event flow and setup.
• Coordinate add-ons (balloons, goody bags) and communicate with clients and staff.
• Assist customers, handle checkout, and enroll guests in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork related to events.
