Job summary

Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville, TN seeks a proactive, organized individual to support the Children’s Ministry Director. You will manage calendars, handle communications with parents and volunteers, coordinate events, and maintain ministry systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Children’s Ministry Director through calendar management, scheduling, meeting prep, and accurate notes.
• Serve as a key communication liaison for LH Kids email, ensuring timely, warm communication with parents, volunteers, staff, and partners.
• Assist with event planning and execution, coordinating logistics, registrations, supplies, and day-of operations.
• Support team leadership with staff and volunteer scheduling, onboarding, and background checks.
• Manage ministry systems and databases across Rock, Planning Center Online, and Google Workspace.
• Assist with resource and curriculum distribution and logistics for content creation and distribution.
• Contribute creatively in planning meetings to enhance ministry effectiveness and family engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information.
• Assist with budget tracking and vendor coordination with the admin team.
• Represent the Kids Team and Director with a welcoming, solutions-oriented presence.
