Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide engaging, educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged three months to 11 years within the Kids Academy. Responsibilities include leading activities, ensuring safety, and coordinating with parents and staff to support child development.

The role requires child activity experience, basic first aid/ CPR certification within 60 days, and ongoing completion of provided trainings.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and CPR/ AED within 60 days of hire
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
• Less than a High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Instructs organized activities to foster children’s development
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment and manages behavior
• Communicates with parents and team about incidents and progress
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation
• Restocks supplies and cleans program areas after each class
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly
