Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver safe, engaging educational and fitness programming for children from infants to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct, and supervise activities and host events as needed.

The role requires First Aid and CPR/AED within 60 days, supports child development across cognitive, social, and physical domains, and offers a team-oriented environment emphasizing safety and positive conduct.

Qualifications

First Aid certification and CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire.
Completion of all Kids On-Demand Learnings prior to first day of work.
6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities.
Prepare and set up for class and transfer children to and from programming.
Maintain records of attendance, development, and incidents.
Monitor and maintain a safe environment with respect to toys, equipment, and surroundings.
Use positive behavior management techniques and communicate with parents and team members.
Promote all Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics.
Keep the Kids Academy clean and restock supplies after each class.
Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
