Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to lead best-in-class educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role may include hosting parties and events, with a focus on safety, engagement, and development.

The position requires a First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire and prior experience with children is preferred. It is an hourly, part-time role with benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Experience teaching children ages 3–11 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and assists with transfers of children to/from programming.
• Keeps attendance, development, and incidents records up to date.
• Maintains safe, healthy environment and supervises toys and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost participation in Kids & Aquatics programs.
• Maintains the Kids Academy and other areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking.
