Code Ninjas Silverlake- Los Angeles is seeking a Sensei (Tutor) to join our team and provide engaging coaching for kids ages 5–14 in a fun, non-intimidating setting. You will oversee day-to-day coaching and student engagement, helping young engineers build confidence through coding and problem-solving.

The role emphasizes creating a safe learning space, following curriculum, and collaborating with parents and managers to track progress.

Qualificações

• Experience mentoring or tutoring children aged 5 and up.
• Experience with the general public.
• Background in teaching, mentoring or child care.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.
• Interest in coding and technology; ability to pick up basic concepts quickly.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with changing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Training – go through the curriculum and learn it
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Work with children to determine skill sets
• Provide feedback to parents after working with a student who is on a tour
• Follow opening/closing duties daily
• Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
• Report weekly to Center Assistant Manager on progress
• Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day’s activities and productivity in dojo
