Job summary

Code Ninjas is seeking a Coding Instructor/Code Sensei to join our team of dynamic, energetic minds, focused on providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Senseis oversee day-to-day coaching and student engagement.

Applicants should have experience with children, enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young minds, and be willing to obtain the Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Compensation is hourly with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Working history with children ages 7 and up
• Ability to mentor, coach, or tutor children
• Experience in teaching or childcare
• Works well with others and adapts to changing environments
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology or quick to pick up basics
• Fun and energetic approach suitable for fast-paced settings

Responsibilities

• Train students by following the curriculum and learning objectives
• Create a positive, safe environment for growth
• Assess individual skill sets in children
• Provide feedback to parents after tours or sessions
• Handle opening/closing duties daily
• Keep the dojo clean to corporate standards
• Report progress weekly to Regional Director
• Report daily on activities and productivity in dojo
