Job summary

Villa Sport Athletic Club and Spa in Cypress, TX is seeking a dedicated team member to supervise children in our on-site childcare programs for infants through school-age members' children. You will deliver engaging activities in a safe, energized setting.

The role rotates among Counselor, Rotations, Programs, and Reception. You’ll lead activities, supervise play, and coordinate with the team to support families.

Qualifications

• Certification in both adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR required within 30 days.
• Minimum age 18.
• Experience supervising children.
• Ability to physically intervene when safety is compromised.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise children in temporary child care for ages infant to school-age.
• Deliver programmed activities and manage program rotations or reception duties.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff under supervision.

Position Summary

Employee will be assigned to either Counselor, Rotations, Programs, or Reception responsibilities. The role provides leadership, direction, and supervision to children in temporary child care for infants to school-age children of Villa Sport members, and delivers programmed activities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of pay based on relevant experience to the role.

Qualifications

• Position requires certification in both adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR within 30 days of hire date; Villa Sport will provide an opportunity to certify you.
• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Experience supervising children. Ability to visually observe children and to physically intervene when safety could be compromised.
• Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor program settings and activities.
• Physically able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
