Job summary

Life Time in Miami seeks a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, and gym games while incorporating nutrition education. You will ensure a safe, fun experience for ages 3–13 and serve as a role model for participants and families.

Responsibilities include leading groups of up to 10 children, maintaining orderly activities, promoting monthly events, and ensuring resources stay within budget.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience or equivalent childcare/activities experience.
• First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, and games while maintaining a safe environment.
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a positive, outgoing attitude and serves as a role model.
• Demonstrates courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to customers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promotes monthly events to increase participation and revenue.
• Monitors use of supplies, snacks, and drinks within department budget.
