Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide best-in-class educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.

You will organize, instruct, and ensure safe, fun activities and may host events. Responsibilities include greeting guests, facilitating developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining records, and promoting all junior programming while keeping the space clean and safe.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Maintains a safe environment and communicates with parents and team.
• Promotes junior programming and supports Life Time activities.
• Keeps the Kids Academy clean and restocks supplies as needed.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
