Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Dallas invites applications for a Kids Instructor to provide best-in-class, educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years within the Kids Academy.

You will greet members, guide activities, ensure safety, and support events and parties as needed, while maintaining records and promoting wider Junior programming in a fun, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and CPR/AED for Infant/Child and Adult required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• Preferred: 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs and organizes activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares for class, transfers kids to/from programming, and maintains attendance records.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment, communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics programming.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and restocked after each class.
• Responds calmly to incidents and emergencies.
