Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver best-in-class educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role includes organizing activities, hosting events, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include instruction, class setup, attendance tracking, and collaboration with parents and staff to support child development and participation in all Kids & Aquatics programming.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Experience teaching children aged 3–11 is preferred.
• Ability to engage and manage a group of young children in activities.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs organized activities to support cognitive, social and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class, transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development and incident records.
• Maintains safe, healthy environment for kids and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior techniques and communicates with parents and team.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and stocked, restocks supplies after class.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.
