Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging educational and fitness-oriented activities for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role may include hosting parties and events, with emphasis on safe, entertaining programming for families in a gym setting.

The position requires caregiving skills, strong communication with parents, and a focus on safety and development through structured activities and games.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma is required for this role.
• Complete all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings before the first day of work.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications must be completed within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Lead organized activities to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare for class, transfer children to/from programming, and maintain attendance records.
• Keep a safe and healthy environment and monitor equipment and surroundings.
• Communicate clearly with parents and teammates using positive behavior strategies.
• Promote Junior programming and participate in cleaning and restocking duties.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
