Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking an Associate Transplant Coordinator for the Kidney Transplant program at Weill Cornell Medical Center. You will work with Transplant Coordinators and clinical staff to support comprehensive patient care, coordinating scheduling, documentation, and communications throughout the pre-transplant process.

The role requires strong knowledge of transplant donor and recipient treatment requirements, plus experience coordinating with medical teams and insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and EPIC knowledge.
• Transplant work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinic administrative processes.
• Experience with third-party insurances and government programs for authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative transplant processes with patients and clinical staff.
• Manage appointment scheduling and document completion.
• Input sensitive patient data into scheduling system and arrange interpreters as needed.
• Assist with post-treatment appointments and other duties as assigned.
