Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian seeks an Associate Transplant Coordinator for the Kidney Transplant program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. You will work with Transplant Coordinators and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care, handling scheduling, documentation, and patient communications throughout the pre-transplant phase.

This role requires EPIC knowledge and transplant experience. Education includes a Bachelor's degree, with preferred clinic experience and knowledge of insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for the role.
• EPIC knowledge is required for this position.
• Experience working in transplant or related clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative aspects of transplant processes with patients, staff and outside organizations.
• Manage appointment scheduling and completion of required documentation for pre-transplant care.
• Input sensitive patient data into scheduling systems and arrange interpreter services as needed.
• Assist with coordination of transplant-related services and post-treatment appointments.
