Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Kid Zone Team Member to help create a fun, safe environment for children at our branches in Philadelphia. You will engage with kids, support staff, and uphold the Y's mission.

Ideal candidates are age 15+, comfortable with non-professional child care, and willing to learn First Aid/CPR/AED. Training provided; a positive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care or comfort with children.
• Willingness and desire to live out the Y mission.
• Ability to perform life saving skills (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Engage with children to enhance their experience.
• Vigilantly monitor children and surroundings.

What is needed for this job as our Kid Zone Team Member:

• Age 15+
• Have experience and comfort working in child care - does not have to be professional
• Have a willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
