Philaymca is seeking a Kid Zone Team Member to join our team at the Boyertown YMCA in Pennsylvania. The role involves positively impacting children by creating a stimulating and safe environment while ensuring their engagement and enjoyment.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years or older.
• Previous experience with children is preferred but not necessary.
• Training for First Aid and CPR skills will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for children.
• Engage with children to enhance their experience.
• Vigilantly monitor children and their surroundings.
• Prevent risks and manage bullying and misbehavior.

What is needed for this job as our Kid Zone Team Member:

• Age 15+
• Have experience and comfort working in child care - does not have to be professional
• Have a willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)

• Engaging with children to maximize their experience
• Vigilantly monitor the children and their environment
