Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Kid Zone Team Member to support our youth programming at the Y. You will help create a fun, safe environment for children and participate in activities that promote learning and play.

Qualified candidates enjoy working with kids, are at least 15 years old, and are willing to learn life saving skills through provided First Aid/CPR training. This is a great chance to grow with a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Age 15+
• Experience and comfort in child care (not necessarily professional)
• Willingness and desire to live out the Y mission
• Able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for children to play and learn
• Engage with children to maximize their experience
• Vigilantly monitor the children and their environment
• Prevent risk, bullying, and misbehavior

What is needed for this job as our Kid Zone Team Member:
