Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a Kid Zone Team Member for the Phoenixville YMCA in Phoenixville, PA. You will help create a fun, safe environment for children to play and learn, and engage with kids to maximize their experience.

This entry-level position requires being at least 15 years old, having experience in child care, a willingness to live the Y mission, and the ability to participate in First Aid/CPR/AED training (training provided).

Qualifications

• Experience in child care is preferred.
• Must follow safety rules and prevent risks.
• Committed to living the YMCA mission.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for children to play and learn.
• Engage with children to maximize their experience.
• Vigilantly monitor the children and their environment.
• Help prevent bullying and misbehavior.

What is needed for this job as our Kid Zone Team Member:

• Age 15+
• Have experience and comfort working in child care - does not have to be professional
• Have a willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
