Job summary

Family Dollar in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, help with merchandise, and complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, assist the Store Manager, maintain inventory, and help keep the store clean and organized.

This role emphasizes friendly service, accurate cash handling, and teamwork. Availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required; physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organize shelves.
• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations and openings/closes.
• Support inventories and help with deliveries and replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service and guidance to store team.
