Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience required; lead, keyholder, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Dependable and trustworthy with opening/closing responsibilities.
• Able to work independently and own operations during shifts.
• Clear direction to team while maintaining hands-on, collaborative approach.
• Strong guest service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the restaurant as assigned and serve as keyholder.
• Own floor operations during shifts to ensure smooth service.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to team members.
• Coordinate front-of-house activities and maintain flow of service.
• Maintain welcoming guest experience and assist with seating and wait times.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
• Manage service flow during busy periods and identify when extra support is needed.
• Communicate guest, service and operational needs to FOH/BOH teams.
• Step in with tasks like running food, clearing and resetting tables.
• Handle guest questions or issues and escalate when needed.
• Assist with POS transactions and end-of-shift procedures.
• Complete opening/closing checklists and secure the restaurant.
• Identify maintenance, supply, safety, staffing concerns to management.
• Reinforce sanitation, food safety, and service standards.
• Make sound day-to-day operational decisions within role scope.
• Participate in training on operations and leadership responsibilities.
• Perform other restaurant support duties as needed.
