Role Description

The Keyholder is a part-time, on-site role based in Portland, OR, responsible for supporting daily store operations and upholding UNTUCKit’s service standards. This role includes opening and closing the store, overseeing store security procedures, and ensuring the sales floor is well-presented and fully stocked. The Keyholder assists customers with product selection, fits, and styling, while promoting brand values and delivering a positive customer experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving retail sales, processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate cash handling and point-of-sale procedures. The Keyholder also supports training of team members, helps execute visual merchandising directives, and contributes to a collaborative, inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills to create a welcoming, attentive, and solution-focused environment.
• Candidates should possess solid Retail Sales and Communication skills to engage customers, explain product features, and close sales effectively.
• Candidates should possess thorough Product Knowledge to assist with fits, styles, and outfit suggestions aligned with the UNTUCKit brand.
• Candidates should possess reliability in keyholding responsibilities, including store opening/closing, cash handling, and adherence to security and safety procedures.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand, move, and lift light merchandise throughout a shift.
• Previous experience in apparel or specialty retail is beneficial, along with familiarity with basic POS systems and a demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and team collaboration.
