Job summary

Blue Flamingo Resort Key West, part of Highgate Hotels, LP, seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations, optimize productivity, and drive guest satisfaction at the Key West property.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive Front Office oversight, and collaboration across departments. You will ensure service excellence, manage schedules, and contribute to overall property performance in a competitive Florida market.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in hospitality or related field.
• Proficient with Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Front Office leadership in managing operations across hotel departments.
• Provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk staff and guests.
• Oversee shift coverage in F&B operations as needed.
• Balance inventory of hotel room types.
• Ensure lobby, mezzanine, and F&B areas meet cleanliness and signage standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints during shifts.
• Perform Night Audit related duties and produce reports.
• Train and counsel hourly associates; administer discipline as needed.
• Attend required meetings and contribute to team morale.
