Job summary

Goodwill NYNJ is seeking a Key Holder to assist the Store Manager in daily operations and elevate the customer experience at the South Hackensack location. You will model CARE service standards, train associates, and execute Brand standards in the Store Manager's absence.

Responsibilities include leading a customer-first team, coaching to deliver excellent service, and collaborating with sales specialists. The role requires adaptability to shift schedules and a commitment to Goodwill's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in retail store supervisory.
• High School Diploma, equivalent, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proven ability to drive and exceed store results.
• Proven ability to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing, customer-first oriented team and coach associates.
• Train and coach staff to achieve all set expectations and Brand standards.
• Execute operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Drive partnership on the selling floor between sales specialists and store staff.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and respectfully to ensure a positive experience.
• Communicate product needs to stock team to keep floor replenished.
• Maintain neat, clean, organized selling floor and current visual displays.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and support leadership.
• Encourage customers to participate in Goodwill Rewards and learn the Mission.
